Change Portrait To Landscape Photoshop

Select image rotation from the file menu and select a 90 degree rotation either clockwise or counterclockwise to rotate the image to landscape mode. Can anyone tell me in simple terms how this can be done.

Change portrait to landscape photoshop. Tried tool rotate and it does not work. Out of a 10 page document pages 4 7 need to be changed from portrait to landscape. I need the photo to fit in a basic 6x4 frame landscape.

It would be great if we were able to change the page orientation from landscape to portrait and vice versa in the new document dialog just like in adobe illustrator and indesign im not sure how hard would it be to add this feature to photoshop cs6 but since its already there in illustrator and indesign. You and i are both using the same cs5.

Rotating 90 degrees or 180 degrees do not present the document in landscape format. As always the more familiar you are with photoshops tools the easier you will find this article to follow along. Toggling the arrows wont itself change the crop of the image but rather allows you to alternate the crop type portraitlandscape when in the cropping process.

Open any photoshop document thats in portrait mode. I have just started to use a trail copy of photoshop cc novice for sure i set myself a simple task so i thought to change a landscape picture into portrait. Researching the forums does not provide a solution.

Note must keep the document scaling once pages 4 7 are changed to landscape.
